Learn effective hand drumming technique while unleashing the urge to improvise and play in a safe and supportive environment. We’ll play West African, Brazilian, and Latin American inspired rhythms as a we build a drumming community. We’ll also create rhythms of our own, learning skills to bring to informal drum circles. Cost of class is $65 for six weeks or $14 per drop-in class, drums available to use.

Beginners class in Easthampton

Wednesday evenings from 6 – 7:15 at One Cottage St. We offer ongoing classes in six-week sessions. Drop-ins welcome anytime. Drums available to use.

Beginners Class in Turners Falls

Thursday evenings from 6:00pm – 7:15pm at the Brickhouse. Ongoing classes in six-week sessions. Drop-ins welcome anytime. Drums available to use.

Intermediate Class in Northampton

Tuesday evenings from 6:15 – 7:30 at St. Johns next to the Smith Art Museum. Ongoing classes in six-week sessions. Drop-ins welcome.

Advanced Class in Northampton

Tuesday evenings from 7:30 p.m. - 8:45 p.m. at St. Johns next to the Smith Art Museum. Ongoing classes in six-week sessions.
